This attraction is located in the city center, 2km heading south. Gềnh Ráng is known as a historical place of a Vietnam famous poet – Hàn Mạc Tử (1912-1940). His gravestone was moved to this place and became a literary symbol when local people tell about Quy Nhon city. You can visit the little souvenir stores that still reserve his poems in many creative ways. There you’ll get the view of an egg-shape rocky beach also the full view of the main beach – Xuan Dieu.

EO GIO
Eo Gio is 20 kilometers in the north of Quy Nhon city center, the landscape is famous for its beautiful beach. Notice: Eo Gio is not for someone who wants to swim. This is, to me, very touristy. Personally, I don’t recommend Eo Gio. It’s hidden in a fishing village of Nhon Ly town. You can rent a motorbike to go to this place, park the vehicles in nearby houses and walking about 100m will reach Eo Gio or catch a taxi with the cost about VND200,000 and then take the canoe there.
Entrance fee: 1 USD (23,000 VND). Go there if you want to take a photo, not a place for chilling or resting.
The fishing village is worth a visit because there are many beautiful pagodas in this semi-island. Next to Eo Gio, there are 2 pagodas with golden Buddhist statues. Spend some times to walk around. All of the Vietnam temples & pagodas are free to visit. Just dress properly. Means no short, no tank top.
You will feel peaceful by the clear blue water, by the high rocky cliffs with many strange shapes embracing the whole sea, by feeling on the rocks, listening to the sea breeze blowing in the ear. Everything is just breath-taking.
A lot of Asian tourists come here for taking photos.
But instead of renting a hotel room in the city center, you can rent a camping tent at the Eo Gio resort with a more affordable service and also the fastest way to fully enjoy the morning. The rental price for 4-person tents is about VND 350,000 and VND 850,000 for 10-person tents with full blankets. You will be completely comfortable enjoying your trip.
HẦM HÔ – HAM HO WATERFALL
The name Ham Ho originated from a unique phenomenon that occurs here in the dry season. In a drought year when people wanted rain, there were many strange sounds like people screaming and praying at this bend of the river. The local people began to call this place Ham Ho, or ‘Yelling Cellar’.
Ham Ho is an eco-tourism area in Tay Son district, about 50 kilometers from Quy Nhon city center in the Northwest. The beauty of Ham Ho up till now still makes many people flutter, every time standing in Ham Ho, inhaling the fresh and sweet atmosphere, each time the heart regains happiness.
In addition, fish that come to Ham Ho always swim against the river’s flow and get pushed into the air like flying fish, so that this particular part of the river is also called The Flying Fish.
TÂY SƠN – QUANG TRUNG KING PALACE
Quang Trung King Palace is 50 km northwest of Quy Nhon city, belonging to Binh Thanh commune, Tay Son district. This museum was built in 1978 according to ancient architecture, majestic appearance. If you are interested in history, this place is definitely should not be missed.
In the museum, there are 3 main groups of houses, suggesting 3 directions that radiate into the statue yard, along with the access road from the museum gate, creating a round and balanced courtyard layout, opening 4 directions, then gathering 1 point : that is where the statue of Quang Trung – Nguyen Hue is located. On the outside, the architecture of the Quang Trung Museum brings ancient lines, with repeated columns with rhythm and strongly curved roofs but still romantic and harmonious.
Quang Trung Museum of Binh Dinh is not only a place to store historical artifacts but also a place to transmit Tay Son national martial arts spirit – the traditional martial art of Binh Dinh. In order to increase the liveliness of martial arts dances, people here also recreated the drum of the old battle of King Quang Trung.

Don’t be surprised that in the peak season it is full of tourists from the tours.
This place has sun-soaked golden sands, soft, arcane rocky ridges, like silk strips, and clear blue waters that see the bottom. Ky Co, in the summer, when you come here to bathe or admire, there is nothing better than that.

TRUNG LUONG & CAT TIEN BEACH
Go further to northern Quy Nhon city to Nhon Ly. On the right side, there’ll be an access path from the village to the beach. It’s a free & long beach.
SEO ISLAND – HÒN SẸO
Located in Nhơn Lý town. This is a small island about 5 kilometers from the mainland. The thing that makes this island so special is that there is no stretch of sand like other beaches. Instead, it possesses a multitude of large and small rocks lying sprawling on the sea surface.
Located in the middle of the ocean, the only way to get to Seo Island is to take a boat.
